Gratitude is the act of expressing appreciation for what one has. Research shows that practicing gratitude consistently is associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, helps you focus on good experiences, and builds stronger relationships. We have all experienced changes in our life due to COVID 19; as well as increase stress as a result of the unknown. During this stressful time we can all benefit from the impact of adding more gratitude into our life. This weeks wellness tip is to incorporate more gratitude into your daily life. You can start a gratitude journal or practice daily gratitude reflection. Your daily reflection can consist of one or two words, thoughts or sentences. You can also use your thoughts of gratitude to help you connect with others. Identify one person that has a significant and positive impact in your life. Give them a call or send them a text to let them know how much you appreciate them! Feeling ambitious, join the 30 day gratitude challenge.
