Wellness Wednesday Tip: Emotional Cup

Imagine your life as an emotional cup. Each cup needs to be filled with positive wellness. Feelings of joy, love, serenity and contentment are examples of things that fill our cup and leave us feeling rejuvenated. Stress, loneliness, isolation, perfectionist, and fatigue are all examples of things that empty our cup and can leave us feeling drained. This weeks tip is to focus on filling your cup. Focus on nourishing either your mind, body, or spirt. Connect with nature, do something you love, take a relaxing bath, spend time with your family, take a nap etc. Feeling ambitious, allow your spiritual side to fill your cup. Focusing on the fact that we are apart of something bigger than ourselves. This thought alone can inspire us to strive to be the best version of ourselves. This tip can manifest in several different ways. Spending time journaling your thoughts, meditating, or spending time in prayer. Try studying a spiritual text or reading an inspirational book.
